The Little Villa Small Business Matchmaking Event

The first ever Small Business Matchmaking Event at The Little Villa was everything I hoped it could be and more. Laura and Andres, owners of The Little Villa, hosted this invite-only event with a small group of diverse business owners and photographers. In total, I made 6 new business connections, and a new photographer connection as well!

Amanda Rex

I worked with Amanda to capture personal branding headshots for her real estate business, @realtorsaurousrex. I captured a variety of photos both close and wide, and both vertical and horizontal, so that she’d have a photo for all her display needs.

Good Earth Essentials

Tatyana Reisini is the face behind Good Earth Essentials—Charlotte’s firs Zero Waste shop. We worked together to capture her must-have photos ranging from product photography to in-use lifestyle photos, to headshots.

Gordon Gifts

Kelsey Gordon, the owner behind Gordon Gifts, needed a variety of product-focused images for her online gift shop. To make the product images sharper and cleaner, I used bounced flash in all of her images!

Limoncito Goods

Michelle, the creator behind Limoncito Goods, was a dream to work with. She came prepared with so many wonderful ideas, props and pieces, that we went perhaps a little overboard with her mini session (no regrets here)! She embodies passion for her craft, and was open to my creative direction throughout the session. These were some of my favorite images of the YEAR, honestly!

Raw Bites By Risa

Marisa is the face behind Raw Bites By Risa, a health food and dessert brand in Charlotte. She brought her gorgeous and friendly smile and her drool-worthy desserts for an incredible mini session with a variety of photos for her business.

Studio Laudres

I’m no stranger to working with Laura, the maker at Studio Laudres! I had the pleasure of photographing her polymer clay earrings and her collaboration pieces with artist Anee Shah for her hand painted floral earrings.

Wellness by Shaina Joyce

Shaina Partlow, a health coach for millennial women, was candid, sweet, and an absolute joy in front of the camera. We were able to capture all of these stunning shots in record timing—somewhere between 5 and 10 minutes together!

The Little Villa

Finally, I closed out the day with Laura and AndrĂ©s, the two beautiful humans I’ve come to call friends over the last year of working with them to capture progress at The Little Villa. I am so proud of their dedication to making this space one that serves and inspires the whole Charlotte community.
