Highlights from the headshot event hosted by Worthy & Badass focused on women empowerment.
This Charlotte headshot event was a 4 hour long mega headshot marathon, featuring incredible people, live music, hand stamped jewelry from Worthy and Badass, and an entire photoshoot experience.
As one of two photographers covering the event, I set up my miniature studio and welcomed over a dozen ladies in front of my camera. Consequently, I met entrepreneurs, students, mothers, artists, bloggers and beyond.
As a headshot photographer primarily, I was in my comfort zone behind the camera. However, just like each one of my own clients, these ladies were a bit nervous and craving direction and reassurance. I can 100% relate with the feeling of vulnerability in front of a camera, and especially when we’re talking about a giant 85mm lens, full size reflector and soft box.
In addition, I wanted to make each of these women feel as confident as each of my full-length session clients. One by one, I reached the goal of incredible session and portraits.
